The club welcomes corporate clients and societies.
Owing to the popularity of the course, visitors should make prior arrangements with professional Mr Craig Morris, tel: 01777 711188.
Visitors welcome except Tuesday mornings, which is Ladies' day.
Buggies and trolleys available for hire, proir booking is advisable.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
VISITING PARTIES
1. We only accept visiting parties with a minimum of 12 players.
2. The 1st Tee will normally be reserved at 9.00am and 2.00pm. Special arrangements may be made in exceptional circumstances.
3. The organiser of the party must ensure that its members are capable of playing golf to a reasonable level and have an understanding of golf etiquette.
4. The Organiser will contact the Professional (Direct Line 01777 711188 Option 2) and confirm final numbers at least 7 days prior to the day of playing.
Organisers are also asked at this time to ring the Club Steward (Mr Alan Cove - 01777 711188 - Option 4) to finalise catering arrangements.
5. Format for play may be 3 or 4 ball. Facilities can be provided for longest drive/nearest pin competitions if requirements are notified prior to the day. The Club Professional can provide in his shop (Direct Line: 01777 703733) an excellent selection of golf equipment at competitive prices for parties requiring prizes for the evening presentation.
6. Mobile telephones must be switched off on the Course and in the Clubhouse.
DRESS RULES VISITING PARTY GUIDELINES
IN THE CLUBHOUSE
1. Smart casual attire may be worn in the Clubhouse at any time shirts with a collar must be worn at all times.
2. Please note that denim jeans, trainers, plimsolls, tracksuits, sports shorts are not acceptable on the course or in the clubhouse.
3. Tailored shorts may be worn with knee length or short white sport socks.
4. Waterproofs, fleeces and outside jackets or golf shoes of any kind must not be worn in the clubhouse, outside of the changing rooms.
ON THE COURSE
1. Proper golfing attire including golf shoes must be worn on the course.
Etiquette and Care of the Course
1. The recognised etiquette of the game as per The Rules of Golf must be observed.
2. To ensure the enjoyment of all golfers please be aware that slow play is not acceptable. If you fall a hole behind the group in front (even if they are in your party) you must give way to the following group.
3. Retford Golf Club has worked hard to ensure the course is of the highest standard and requires the help and support of our guests by asking them to rake bunkers, repairs divots, repair pitch marks on the greens and deposit litter in the bins provided.
Local Rules & Safety on the Course
1. Local rules are printed on the scorecard and must be strictly observed.
2. Caddy cars and carts must not cross white lines and must use paths wherever possible.
3. Players must ring the bells on the 7th, 12th ,and 15th holes to inform the following group that it is safe to play.
4. MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF ON THE COURSE AND IN THE CLUBHOUSE.
